This Spring it’s all about the blonds and not in a sweet and cute way. Tom Ford shows us a strong and edgy look with slept-in, charcoal smokey eyes. This look is also very suitable for gals with a darker hair-color. As long as you keep the skin very nude, you can pull off dark eyes easily this Spring.
Step 1 | Skin
With the eyes being this heavy, a simple non-heavy nude look for the skin is recommended. To achieve this use a light foundation that matches your skin color (Clinique Pore Refining Solutions). Instead of applying the foundation with your fingers use a Beauty Blender or Foundation Brush to even out the color.
Use a good concealer (Chanel Corrector Perfection) to cover dark under eye circles and any blemishes.
Step 2 | Eyes
Use a medium-size round brush ( 123 Fluff Brush by Mac) to apply charcoal gray powder (Knight Divine by Mac) in an arch shape just above the crease of the lid. Then blend down to the lash line.
Trace the upper lash line with a soft black pencil, then gently smudge with your fingertip.
With a smaller, firm-bristle brush (212 Flat Definer Brush by Mac), press a gunmetal shade (Print by Mac) into the lower lash line.
Apply a pale silver powder (Electra by Mac) to the inner corners of the eyes to lighten the overall effect.
Pile on mascara.
Step 3 | Lips
Go easy on the lips, a natural looking Lip Balm will do the trick in this case.
